HR, Talent And Leadership Expert, Robert Gandossy, Announces Launch Of New Leadership Coaching Service Focused On Developing Talent, Strengthening Teams And Improving Levels Of Engagement To Drive Performance

New York, April 15, 2016 — Longtime veteran of corporate talent, leadership, and human resources development; Robert Gandossy, today announced the launch of a new coaching service focused on developing talent, building strong teams, and improving levels of employee engagement. The company will continue its focus on developing strategies for talent, leadership, and HR as well as building broader leadership capability, but Gandossy, a former Global Practice and Business leader at Hewitt Associates and Managing Director of the RBL Group, felt a need to coach leaders specifically in the areas of managing talent.

“Many leaders want to do a better job developing talent and building stronger teams, but struggle to make it happen”, Gandossy says, “and therefore employee engagement and performance suffer.” Gandossy said, “many corporate leadership development programs and those run by major universities help, but they only scratch the surface in developing the capabilities leaders need.” Gandossy has found that supplementing leadership development programs and the efforts of HR functions to improve employee engagement is a highly effective way to drive results.

The initial coaching service is offered for six-month engagements and there are four learning modules in addition to an executive 360 evaluation. The four modules are:

  • Clarifying Strategy, Goals, and Values
  • Driving Performance and Accountability
  • Identifying and Developing Talent
  • Building Strong Teams and High Engagement


Each module contains a ‘primer’ on the topics as well as exercises tailored for the leader. Both the primers and the exercises are developed in conjunction with the clients’ HR leaders. “Experts have talked for years about the importance of a ‘talent mindset’ to improve talent management and employee engagement,“ Gandossy says. “ But a talent mindset just doesn’t happen,” he says. “You need to first understand, tangibly see what good leadership looks like and then you need to ‘do’, so you learn.”
